This year the Buddy Holly tribute night was held on Saturday12 February 2011.

The Rob family started the evening with their debut performance as a Buddy Holly tribute band and wowed the audience with their repertoire. Tommy amazed everyone by  playing his new drumkit (a present for his 9th birthday on the previous day). They were followed by the Trevor Hyett trio who managed to slip in 'Tears on my Burgers ' which although not Buddy or 50s had been specially requested.  Dave Forster followed with his backing band which had somehow expanded and took over the whole stage. Ron Trueman-Border performed a song specially written by him as a tribute to Buddy. The Feuding Lloyds once again recreated the spirit of Buddy Holly with the help of guest musician Mark Hankins

On Sunday February 7th 2010 we held a fantastic Buddy Holly tribute night. The Cedars Room was packed, and in attendance were Malcolm Wicks MP and several Croydon councillors. Butt of Lewis, Dave the Post and The Feuding Lloyds all recreated the spirit of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper, among others. Ron "Rave On" Trueman-Border performed a song with the Feuding Lloyds specially written for the occasion.
