Ruskin House, built c1713, had been a school and the residence of an
Italian Consul. In 1967 it was opened by the Prime Minister Harold
Wilson as the home of the Trade Unions, Labour Party and
Co-operative movement in Croydon. The club meets in a beautiful room
full of character which is ideal for creating music and drinking
beer.
